Zoo Med Gourmet Tortoise Food (ZM-102)

Zoo Med’s Gourmet Tortoise Food adds enrichment to your tortoise’s diet with the addition of dried carrots, hibiscus flower petals, and sweet potatoes. Zoo Med has over 40 years of experience researching the nutritional requirements of reptiles and developing foods that meet their nutritional needs. 

This food is natural with added vitamins, minerals, and other trace nutrients. There are no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives added! 

Instructions

Moisten food with water and allow it to sit for 3-5 minutes in order for carrots, sweet potatoes, and hibiscus to become saturated and create a flavorful mash that tortoises love. To help tortoises acclimate to new food, thoroughly mix small amounts of the current diet into the moistened food. Slowly reduce the amount of current diet offered at each feeding until your tortoise has switched over completely. Offer food on a free choice basis and replace food daily. Gourmet Tortoise Food may be mixed with fresh lettuce and other greens for additional variety. Always provide clean drinking water treated with Zoo Med’s ReptiSafe™ water conditioner.
